CLARENCE LARGE Obituary

LARGE, REV. CLARENCE EDWARD - age 56, of New Market, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2014. Loving husband, father, and grandfather. Member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church. He loved the Lord and his church. He was a preacher for 38 years. Preceded in death by parents, James and Mary Large; brother, Rev. Jim Large; daughter-in-law, Sybil Large; and grandson, Michael Harper Large. Survived by wife, Debbie Large; sons, Clancy Large and wife April, and Rev. Bill Large; daughter, Megan Dodson and husband D.A.; grandchildren, Edward Large, Francheskia Large, Michaela Parrott, Cheyenne Dodson, Eric Johnson, Elizabeth Large, Charity Parrott, and (expecting) Emma Noel Large; brother, Rev. Mark Large; sisters, Sheila Foust and husband Pat, Valerie Cox and husband Harold, and Michelle Medford and husband Larry; and special friend, Rev. Ronald Gaston. Funeral services will be 5:00 p.m. Sunday, March 30, 2014, at Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Smart and Rev. Hank Long officiating. Family and friends will meet 12:45 p.m. on Monday at Asbury Cemetery for a 1:00 p.m. interment. The family will receive friends 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike, 865-523-4999. www.bridgesfuneralhome.com

Oh my,where do I begin? Y'all have been in my life as Long as I can remember. I pray God gives you the strength to get thought... Eddie was a good friend.
