David Lively, age 67, a lifelong resident of this area, passed away Friday, August 21, 2015 at his home in Harriman, while surrounded by his family. Mr. Lively was born October 28, 1947 in Oliver Springs, and lived most of his life in Oliver Springs. David was self employed, and sold Rainbow Vacuums, he later had his own water company, Rainbow Water Service. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Oak Ridge. Mr. Lively was an avid outdoorsman who loved golf, fishing, hunting, and trail riding. He was loved by all and was the life of the party everywhere he went. He had a crazy laugh that everyone could recognize, and was an all around prankster, and dare-devil.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Bernice Lively; brothers, Gary and Donald Lively. David is survived by his loving wife, Debbie Lively, of Oliver Springs; by two daughters, Heather Phillips, and husband, Jeff, of Oak Ridge, Nicole Russell, and husband, Scott, of Kingston; by a son, Michael Tuggle, and wife, Kat, of Coalfield; by four grandchildren, Cole and Jessica Phillips, Zane and Jayce Tuggle. Mr. Lively is also survived by his father, Carl Lively, of Oliver Springs; two brothers, Larry Lively, and wife, Linda, of Harriman, Randall Lively, of Maryville; two sisters, Patricia Cox, of Oliver Springs, and Connie Flanders, and husband, Jack, of Kingston; beloved dog, Sandi; a host of nieces and nephews; and special friends, Ronnie Russell, and Roy Silvey.

The family will receive friends, Monday, August 24, 2015 between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. at Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs. The funeral will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial and Graveside services will be held, Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Indian Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the funeral services of David Lively.
