Delores Proaps Obituary
Lenoir City, TN
Delores Arden (Dee) Proaps - age 87 of Lenoir City, went to be with the Lord and be reunited with those family members who went to heaven before her on November 24, 2018. Dee was a member of First Baptist Church and the Fidelis Sunday School Class.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, James R. (Bob) Proaps; parents, Allison and Mattie Lee Chambers Arden; sisters and brothers-in-law, Evelyn and Bud Shubert, Iva and Gene Shubert.
Dee is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Jo Ann Proaps, Byron and Sally Proaps and Jonathan and Susan Proaps;
10 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Alice Proaps and Barbara Bright; brother-in-law, Ron Tilley along with many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, November 25th at Click Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3 pm with Dr. Dick DeMerchant and Rev. Phillip Martin officiating. Interment will follow Lakeview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pat Summitt Foundation.
