Dewey Ogle Obituary

OGLE, DEWEY ERNEST - age 70 of South Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2006. He was a Navy Veteran, and a member of Gumstand Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by: his parents Garfield and Pearl Ogle, sister, Shirley Hood. Survivors: wife, Lillian Ogle; children, Charles Ogle and wife Sandra, Randy Ogle, Beverly Ferguson, Robin Morrison, and Jill Ogle; sisters, Evelene Maples, Eunice Stinnett, Edna Lewis, Betty Rudd, and Carol Ann Stinnett; brother, Jack Ogle; grandchildren, Melanie Ogle, Natasha Ogle, Randall Ogle II, Amber Ferguson, Meagan Ogle, Cary Ogle, and Jacob Morrison; great grandchild, Bailey; several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society C/O of Judy Stearly, 411 Ashley Avenue, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863. Funeral service 2 pm Saturday in Atchley's Seymour Chapel with Rev. Deron Cobb, and Rev. Steve Tuck officiating. Interment will follow in Knob Creek Cemetery with full military honors. The family will receive friends 7-9 pm Friday at Atchley Funeral Home, 122 Peacock Court, Seymour, Tennessee, 37865, 577-2807. www.atchleyfuneralhome.com.

I am so thankful for the time we spent with Dewey in the last couple of years. Our family grew so much closer to him and loved him dearly. He was a very special uncle. We'll miss him so much.
