Dear Sister Denise and family of Rev.Booker, You are in my thoughts and prayers. I will remember Rev.Booker as a mighty servant of GOD who loved his LORD, his wife, his family,the saints at St.Johns and saints and sinners every where. He was a great encouragement to me when he served on my ordination board. I will not forget his example of steadfast faith regardless of life's difficulties. I am thankful to GOD for the priviledge of knowing this mighty warrior. The same GOD who Rev. My thoughts and prayers are with you. May the spirit of the Lord shine upon you and give you comfort and peace that will sustain you. For I am reminded of 2 Thessalonians 4:13-18 Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other these words.

I only met Rev. Booker a few times, but what I saw was a humble and sincere servant for the Lord. Revelation 14:13-14 Says "blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on, yes says the spirit, they will rest from their labor and their works do follow them" Rev. Booker's work will carry on for generations to come. May the family draw strength and peace from the one who is able to keep you from falling.

my association with elder booker came through our fellowshipping with st johns at the church there and at our church bazeltown, i remember well one service there at st johns in 2008 where the power of the holy spirit was so great on me that as i ministered to rev booker i was instructed to blow on his belly to ignite the flame within him. as rev booker spoke later he in his usual humble way said he had truly been touched by the lord, i felt a kindrid spirit connection with elder booker and will trully miss his fellowship but know he truly was a man of god. may god bless you all. signed deacon lee simmons bazeltown missionary church
