Eleanor Smith Templeton died on January 6, 2017, in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was born on November 14, 1920, in Alabama. Mrs. Templeton graduated from Central High School in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on June 1, 1938 as Eleanor Smith. She later moved to Knoxville, Tennessee, having held several clerical positions.

She was predeceased by her husband, Jerome Templeton; her sister, Edna Shadwick; and her brother, Robert Smith. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Anita Hester, Connie Prevallet, Gary Smith and David Smith. A special thanks to Jonny Foxworth, a loyal and devoted caretaker until the last. Many thanks to entire staff at Arbor Terrace and especially Cindy Bayless, who was a dedicated caretaker for so many. Many thanks to Little Creek Sanitarium for their care in the final stages of her life.

Arrangements are incomplete, but all arrangements are being handled by Berry Highland Memorial. Mrs. Templeton will be buried in Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery. Friends may leave their thoughts and memories at www.highlandmemorialknoxville.com.
