Emma Jane Walker, age 16, of Knoxville, went to be with Lord November 21, 2016. She was a junior at Central High School, a member of the cheerleading squad, HOSA, BETA Club, and Young Life. Emma was a beautiful person with a caring soul. Loving and kind to everyone.
Emma was preceded in death by grandfather, Jim Kading; her great-grandparents, and most recently her great-grandmother, Georgia Clonelle "Nana" Jones. Survivors include parents, Mark and Jill Walker; brother, Evan Walker; grandparents, Jane Kading and Mark Armstrong, Ronald and Judy Hill, and Bob and Debbie Walker; great-grandmothers, Betty Kading and Dorothy Evans; aunts, Angie Hill and fiancé Randy Ferguson, Jenny Weldon and husband Michael, and Jodi Kading; cousins, Grey and Georgia Weldon.
Pallbearers will be Evan Walker, Nathan Stamps, Bass Cooper, Nate Jones, Seth Armstrong, Zack Ellis, and Zack Greene. Jackie Raley and the CHS Cheer Team will be serving as Honorary Pallbearers. The family will receive friends 12:00-3:00 p.m., Saturday at Central Baptist Church of Fountain City. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Young Williams Animal Shelter or to the Emma Walker Memorial Fund at Regions Bank by going to youcaring.com
