What a shock it was to hear of Ernest death, Brother Johnny and Billy and I were just with him at his home last thursday night praising The Lord with songs and fellowship. Brother Ernest will certainly be missed,, he has written and preformed so many wonderful and inspirational songs,, I believe I have every CD Ernest produced and will treasure them the rest of my days. Knowing of Ernest condition and being with him in his last hospital stay as well as having the memeory of him saying at the end of our singing last thursday night that he wanted to do this again soon and that he wanted to sing Beulah Land,, which he did although with a weakened voice, nevertheless,, with the Knowledge that we would all soon be in That Land Just Across The River, Ernest our hearts are broken because we loved you so and will miss the wonderful times we all shared,, Soon and Very Soon my Brother we will meet again and I know that you are safe in the arms of Jesus,, Carolyn and I will me in much prayers for the family
