Frank Russell

RUSSELL, MR. FRANK - age 91 of Oliver Springs, passed away Friday, June 16, 2006 at his home. He was a founding member of the Cove Road Primitive Baptist Church where he served as deacon. Besides his love for his church and family, he enjoyed farming and gardening. He retired as a union laborer from the Oak Ridge plants. He was preceded in death by: his parents, John B. and Mattie (Vann) Russell; sisters, Mamie Pennington, Maudie Gallaher, Daisy Massengill, Sadie Smith and Nervie Russell; brothers, John Henry, Harvey, Billy, Arnold, Horace, Jim and Orvil Russell. He is survived by: his wife, Betty McCarter Russell; children, Frankie L. and wife Krystle Russell, Sadie K. and husband Daniel Benbenek, Robert M. and wife Mandi Russell, all of Oliver Springs; grandchildren, Samual Franklin Russell, Joseph Edward Russell, Kaylen Abree Benbenek, Autumn Brooke Benbenek, Mackensie Kristina Russell, Michal Baily Russell, Jonathan Levi Russell and Austin Tayler Hart. The family will receive friends Monday evening, June 19, 2006 from 6-9 pm at Jackson-Oliver Mortuary in Oliver Springs. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, 2 pm at the Cove Road Primitive Baptist Church with Elders Ronnie Crisp, Ronnie Inman and Ricky Boring officiating. Interment will follow in the Indian Creek Cemetery.
