Corryton, TN
Fritz Voss, age 48 of Corryton, Tennessee, a scholar, teacher, blacksmith, archer, and beloved mentor to students in Union County schools; member of the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) – Society persona The Honorable Lord Eberhart von Dornberg; member of Salem Baptist Church; Veteran of the U.S. Army – Germany/South Korea; and life member of the NRA. Above all he was a devoted husband to his one true love of 24 years and three days, Angie.
Mourning his passing is wife Angie; father Virgil Voss (Dorothy); mother Bonnie True (Carl); sisters Christina Voss, Michelle Johnson; nieces and nephews; father-in-love Gary Nelson (Carolyn); brother-in-love Matt (Stephanie); best friends Bill McNutt, Kelvin Ryder.
The family will receive friends 11:00 – 1:00 pm Saturday at Salem Baptist Church with memorial service to follow at 1:00 pm, Rev. Trey Meek and Pastor Jim Taylor officiating. www.mynattfh.com.

Dear Angie and Family,
I just found out about your loss. I worked with a different program, but in the same building for years with Fritz but knew him as was one of the kindest, most talented and intelligent human beings I have ever met.I know he cared so deeply about his students, and most of all, you and his family. And he was loved by his students and everyone he worked with.
I am so sorry, and I wish you many prayers of healing and care.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I still remember him in the tree telling some little kids they better not be throwing rocks at him with such conviction they all ran away screaming even though he was about their age as well.
