Gary Lynn Pressley

Knoxville - Gary Lynn Pressley, age 61, of Knoxville, TN, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at UT Medical Center.

She was the daughter of the late Raymond Jackson, Sr. and Minnie L. Mynatt Guyton. Gary Lynn was employed by Knox County Schools. She loved going to thrift stores to find little treasures. Gary Lynn was big on exercising and didn't mind letting you know. She wanted everyone to be healthy and at their best at all times. We will miss her smile, her talent and quick wit but most of all her love. Heaven welcomed a beautiful rose! We'll see you on the other side our loving daughter, sister and friend.

Preceded in death by her husband, Elvis Pressley; father, Raymond Jackson, Sr.; brother, Michael and sister, Terry.

Survived by mother, Minnie L. Guyton; siblings, Carolyn Cassidy (James), Marie Mathes (Richard), Laura Jackson, Raymond Jackson, Jr. (Nola), Cheryl Jackson, Rodney Jackson and Kim Mobley (Raymond); special friend, Frank Fox; god-daughter, Darlasia Dunbar; a host of other family and friends.

Tuesday, January 26, 2021, a public walkthrough is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Greater Warner Tabernacle A.M.E. Zion Church, 3800 Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue Knoxville, TN. Social distancing and face coverings are required. A graveside service will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery, 2400 Berry Road, Knoxville, TN, where a white dove release will conclude the service. During this time, we will remain in compliance with the Governor's Executive Order No. 17 (COVID-19). Flowers may be delivered to the church the morning of the walkthrough.
