J'Lynn Mathis Obituary
J'Lynn Lynaya Mathis, age 7 born August 20, 2013, departed this life, May 17, 2021 at East Tennessee Children's Hospital.
J'Lynn was a first grader at Spring Hill Elementary.
Preceded in death by great grandparents, Emanuel Howard, Rufus Johnson, Grandville Jett, and James Sr. and Angelecia Griffin; great aunts, Amanda Stout and Deborah Griffin.
She leaves to cherish her memories, parents, Jeffrey Jr. and Razeal Mathis; siblings, Kaydence Garner, Jeffrey III, Juan'Jay and Je'Leiah Mathis, Deauntray Woods, Tangela Welcome, LaTayisha Hall, Dequestrian and Kanye Mathis, Saniyah Mathis, NaShya McMurry, Aunistry Greenlee, Skylar Mathis, and JaeDen Mathis; grandparents, Jeffery Sr.(Michelle) Mathis, Valencia (Phillip) Smith, Mary (Ernest) Bridges; great greatparents, Mary Jett and Patsy Mathis; uncles and aunts, Jerel and Chris Mathis, and Cory (Melissa) Griffin, Shenima Styles, JaDaisha Mathis, LaGarria (Davon) Garrett, Deborah (Byron) Ingram, ShTuara Foster; best friends, Promise Holte and Parker Stintson.
Special thanks to PICU East Tennessee Children's Hospital, Claxton Volunteer Fire Department, Spring Hill Elementary and Fair Garden Preschool.
Family will receive friends, 10:00-11:00 a.m., Friday, May 28, 2021 at Community Evangelist Church (CEC), 2650 Boyds Bridge Pike; funeral service, 11:00 p.m., Pastor Reginald Strong, Pastor Adriane Berry, Officiating.
