Jack Queener Obituary

Jack D. Queener

Knoxville - Jack David Queener, age 90, passed away January 6, 2021, at University of Tennessee Medical Center. He was a member of St. Paul Presbyterian Church.

Preceded in death by his wife, Fern C. Queener, parents, Auwin and Georgia Queener; sister, Anna Katherine Conover; and brother, Herman R. Queener. Survived by his son, David A. Queener and wife, Helen; grandchildren, Sarah, Emma, Molly and Jonathan; many nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of Oak Ridge High School (Class of '48), the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry (Class of '58), and served honorably in the United States Marine Corps.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday, at Weaver Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet 1:45 PM Tuesday, at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery for a 2:00 PM interment. Condolences are welcome at www.weaverfuneralservices.com.

I'm am deeply saddened by Jacks passing. He was my morning coffee and chat buddy and I will miss him greatly. I will always remember him always. Never will I look at a phone the same without thinking of him for the many times he hunted me down to fix it or to find a number for him. He is forever etched in my heart and mind. My deepest heartfelt condolences go out to all the family, may God wrap you in his loving arms and give you peace in the days,weeks and years to come. Thank you for sharing him with us at the Beehive it was an honor!
