CANTRELL, JACQUELINE - age 72, a resident of Harriman, died Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Park West Medical Center in Knoxville. Jacqueline was born June 2, 1937 in Wheelwright, Kentucky. She has lived in Tennessee for the past 33 years. Mrs. Cantrell was a devoted loving wife and homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Dyllis Baptist Church. Her hobbies included cooking, canning, ceramics, numerous other crafts and listening to gospel music. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton H. Gilliam and Lula Frost Gilliam; by sisters; Evelyn Seals, Pauline Goodridge and Jewell Crowder and by brothers, Clinton H. Gilliam, Jr., Harold D. Gilliam and Paul R. Gilliam. Mrs. Cantrell is survived by her devoted and loving husband of over 54 years, Lee R. Cantrell; by children, Lee R. Cantrell, Jr., Robert N. Cantrell and Susan Ashley and husband Dwayne; by grandchildren Amber Nicole Cantrell and Joseph B. Hendrickson and by a great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Hendrickson. She is also survived by brothers, Kenneth Gilliam and wife Rubel of Kingsport, Joe Gilliam of Owenton, KY and Glenn Gilliam and wife, Kim of Florence, KY; by sisters, Linda Gates of Lakeland, FL, Sue Gaier and husband, Rich of Ft. Laramie, OH, Ann Mullins and husband, Bobby of Fredericksburg, VA and Dorothy Price and husband Herbert of Manassas, VA; and by many special friends and extended family members. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 2, 2010 between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 pm at Sharp Funeral Home. The funeral will follow in the funeral home chapel at 8:00 pm with Pastor John Bowman officiating. Additionally the family will receive friends Thursday, March 4, 2010 between the hours of 1:00 and 3:00 pm at the Baker Funeral Home in Pound, VA. Burial and graveside services will follow at the Eli Mullins Cemetery in Pound. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to the
American Cancer Society and or the
