Jacquelyn Queener Obituary

Jacquelyn Queener

Rockford, TN

Jacquelyn A. Queener, Jackie passed peacefully at her home in Rockford, TN on March 9.

She was preceded in death by her dear sister Jo Ann Olexa and her parents Joan Cowan Heeke and Joseph A. Heeke, Jr. Jackie is survived by her husband Gary Queener, her brothers John Heeke (Laura), Knoxville and Joe Heeke (Jean), Bel Air MD, and sisters Jan H. Hodges (Ben Francavilla), Carlisle PA, and Jeannine Shockman, Portland OR. One of Jackie's greatest treasures was spending time and staying in touch with her nieces and nephews: Amber Heeke, Knoxville, Ron Hurlburt, Mercedes Semone and Cara Olexa, Portland OR, Abby Olexa, Atlanta, and Michael and Jadon Heeke, Bel Air MD. Jackie loved her family and friends, her home and garden and her faith. She worshipped at Calvary Knoxville. Her work over the years reflected these values and most recently, she loved being a part of the UT Student Health Center team of professionals. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Calvary Knoxville or Blount Memorial Hospice.

The family will receive visitors at Calvary Knoxville on Friday evening at 5:00 pm, followed by a service at 6:00 pm.

My sweet friend so sorry we didn't get to do things we talked about. But we know we will be together again. Jackies prayer was that her family would know her Lord as she did and be together again. My condolences to her family.
