Knoxville, TN
Jeffery Kent Holbert, age 45, passed from this life to his eternal home in Heaven January 7, 2017. Jeff was a member of Sharon Baptist Church. He was a 1989 graduate of Halls High School, was employed at GC Services. The Green Bay Packers was his team. Jeff was known for the love, kindness, gentleness and a heart of gold he displayed to everyone he met. He was most proud of his children, and loved them with all of his heart. He loved as Christ loved without judgment, but always with forgiveness.
Loved ones Jeff has united with in Heaven are his mother, Brenda Holbert; maternal grandparents, Linda and Nathan Ballard; uncles, Mike and Dennis Holbert; and step-mother, Janie Holbert. Heartbroken and sadly missing Jeff are his children, Victoria (Tori), Brendan, and Mackenzie (Kenzie); father, Larry Holbert; brother, Chad (Lorrie) Holbert; and niece, Kampbelle Holbert; paternal grandparents, Junior and Joan Holbert; uncle and aunt, Dick and Diana (Nan) Summers; and aunt Sheila Hobert; sister/cousin, Kasey (Nick) Burrow; many special cousins; great-aunts; special caring souls, Bea Williams and Pam Nielsen; and numerous friends he held close to his heart.
Family and friends will celebrate the time God gave us with Jeff, 5:00-8:00 PM, Thursday January 12, at Sharon Baptist Church with service at 8:00 PM, Rev. Mark McCoig and Rev. Nick Camcemi officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 AM, Friday, January 13, at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery for interment at 11:00 AM.
