Joann Myers Collette, age 80 of Corryton, passed away on October 28, 2017. She attended Circle Assembly of God and was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Trula Myers; husbands, Ray Batts and Kenneth Collette, Sr. and a sister, Imogene Bowling. She retired from Hillcrest Nursing Home after 38 years of service. Survivors include her children: Donna Jo Milsap (Jimmy), Steve Widner (Rhonda), Jeff Batts (Bev), Greg Batts and Scott Collette (Teresa); grandchildren: Mandy Foster (Craig), Anna Maples (Nick), Zack Batts (Tabitha), Derrick Batts, Kayla Batts, Logan Batts, Mason Batts and Kendall Collette; great grandchildren: Owen, Tayler, Carson, Luke, Skyler, Parker and Emorie, and special friend, Kay Batts. So sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was the first single mom I knew and it always amazed me how she kept those three wild teenage boys straight. She was the kindess loveliest lady in the neighborhood. I have nothing but fond memories of her. May God keep you in His loving care. Prayers and hugs. Fly high sweet lady...FLY HIGH
