I am thankful to all of you who have signed my Papaw's guest book.I know that he is looking down on me and my family and all of you.

Always remember that I cherished my time with you and ALWAYS remember that that we loved you and are glad that you are not in pain anymore.I miss you and am glad that I know you are looking down on us and I hope you that we are making you proud.I love you and I miss you so very much and I look up to the heavens and I think of you.

No one will every know how much I miss you , you were always the one I could count on to hear me out put up with my crap, set me straight allowed me to be me. There are absolutely no words that can express the hurt I feel inside with you not being here. I have ur voice mails & ur text messages and the memory's but NO one will ever understand or get what we GOT!

I am shocked and saddened to read about John. John and Jimmy and I were good friends from high school, and then John and I bowled together at Fountain Lanes. My condolences to the Burkhardt family. May God comfort you and give you understanding and strength.

I wish to thank all the friends and family who have taken the time to sign my father's guest book. It is especially comforting to see the nice things people have said about him. I also wish to thank Community Hospice of Northeast Florida. Their staff did a wonderful job in caring for our family.

I know you've gone on to your next adventure...and I'm sure that it is a great one. I miss you terribly, but am comforted in knowing you have gone to a much better place and are no longer in pain. I will love you always.

We are so sorry about John. I did not realize he was so sick. My prayers are with the rest of the family and friends. John sure is one fine cousin.

John and I served with each other in Jacksonville from 93-97. I will TRUELY miss my Friend, My brother. He was the one who really taught me what is ment to be a brother.. I love you John

John I will always remember our days together as shipmates in VP-94. As crawfishers we were a family and as such I feel pain and sorrow in your passing. Though you are gone you will never be forgotten. The times we shared are memories which will live on. Bless you my shipmate.

May you rest in peace my dear friend. I am forever blessed with the memories of all the time we have had together especially this past year. Through the tears I think of all the laughter we shared especially in the last few months. Despite all that you have gone through you found the time to laugh and you realized what is most important. I will keep my promise to you and take of the General and each time I drive to a new destination I will think of you.
