John "Big John" Lott, of Knoxville, entered into eternal rest July 15, 2015. Son of Lorrina "Bitsy" Gibson and Walter Lott.
Survivors: sister, Shirley Bowman; niece, Latonya Bowman; great-niece, Reginai Bost; great-nephew, Dale Campbell; and a host of other relatives and friends to include close friends, Cortney Jr., Demarcus, Yaron, Ja'Marcus "Trouble."
Family will receive friends, 5:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m., Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Jarnigan's Chapel; Celebration of Life service, 6:00 p.m., Pastor Mildred Westfield officiating. Family will assemble at 1415 Iredell Ave., 37921. Final arrangements by Jarnigan & Son Mortuary. www.jarnigansmortuary.com.

Big John grew up with my children Rudie & Haley Buchanan Kenny Shown pasted 3-13-15 William( Boo) Shown John had the biggest heart he comforted me. There are no words to comfort you I know my prayers are with you always Tammie Bayless William Buchanan
