Joseph Clyde Wilson

WILSON, MR. JOSEPH CLYDE - age 90, of Dickson, formerly of Knoxville, TN died Friday, June 6, 2008 at Horizon Medical Center. A native of Knox County, Tennessee, Mr. Wilson was the son of the late Clarence Carson and Ora Bruce Wilson. He retired as a conductor for the Norfolk-Southern Railroad where he worked for forty-one years. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dimple Wilkerson Wilson of Dickson; one son, Joseph Wilson and his wife, Glynda, of the Tri-Cities area and of Dickson; one daughter, Janice Curd and her husband Lewis of Dickson; grandchildren, Allison Kruse and her husband, Blake, of Dickson, Ami Higgins and her husband, Chris, of Somerset, KY, Andrew Curd of Raleigh, NC, and Leigh-Anne Wilson of Johnson City, TN; great grandchildren, Collins Kruse, Grant Kruse, and Garrett Kruse, and Walker Higgins. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 8, 2008 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Darety officiating. Visitation was from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and will also be from 2:00 p.m. until service time on Sunday.
