Karen "Susie" Shipley age 53, of Knoxville, formerly of Fayetteville, NC passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at her home. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents Dewey E. and Willie Jo Cody, sister Sammy Kay Cody, and nephew Brian R. Cody. She is survived by her husband Charles "Chuck" Shipley, Sr., sons: Mason "Taylor" Shipley and finance Nicole Davis, and Charles "Phillip" Shipley, Jr.; brothers: Dewey "Bubby" Cody and wife Tracey, Dewey Edward "Eddie" Cody and wife Jessica; sister Patricia "Patty" Reyes and husband Jason, Jerry and Sharon Shipley, and lifetime friends Scott and Susan Raaf, several
nieces and nephews, along with many other family and friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at ROSE MORTUARY BROADWAY CHAPEL from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, immediately followed by a 7:00 pm funeral service officiated by Rev. Jack Arwood. Family and Friends will meet Thursday, February 7, 2019 at ROSE MORTUARY BROADWAY CHAPEL at 12:15 pm and process to Lynnhurst Cemetery. An online
