Marlin Boyd Coker - age 92 of Strawberry Plains passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Physician's Regional Medical Center. He was the former owner of Coker's Used Cars. Member of the French Broad Masonic Lodge, Knoxville Scottish Rite and Kerbela Shriners. Preceded in death by wife of 51 years, Alma Kesterson Coker; parents, Frank and Virgie Coker; sisters, Nina Coker and Bernice Coker; and brother, Nathan Coker. Survived by daughter, Lisa Coker; son, Marlin Coker, Jr. Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Bridges officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 AM Wednesday at Thorn Grove Cemetery for an 11:00 AM interment. The family will receive friends 5:30-7:00 PM Tuesday at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike, 865-523-4999. www.bridgesfuneralhome.com
