Mary Garber Obituary

GARBER, MRS. MARY ANN - beloved wife of Harold Garber, passed away June 28th, 2006 at age 85. The Garber family lived in Knoxville from the mid 1940's to the mid 50's, and again for several years in the late 1980's and early 90's. Mrs. Garber was a 1943 graduate of the University of Cincinnati, and worked at the Ryan Aeronautical Company during World War II. She was active in both Hadassah and the American Technion Society. She and her husband were members of the congregation of Temple Beth El. She is survived by her five children, Harry, Richard. Thomas, Ellen, and Sally. Family and friends will meet by 1:30 p.m. Monday July 3, 2006 at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel, and proceed to New Jewish Cemetery for a 2:00 PM, graveside service with Rabbi Beth Schwartz of Tempe Beth El officiating. I was so sorry to learn of Aunt Mary Ann's passing. Her dedication to bringing joy into the life of other people was remarkable. I will always cherish the times I spent with her and her letters. You all have my deepest sympathy.
