Michael Anthony Nolan, age 58, went to his heavenly Father January 3, 2017, at UT Medical Center. Michael was a member of Overcoming Believers Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Nolan and Lorraine Johnson. He is survived by children, Altomese and Joaquin Nolan; grandchildren,La'Nijah, Keivae and Jye'Chae Nolan and Delantia Johnson; fiance, Tameka Houseal Edkis; sisters, Tammy Smith and Arnette Dotson; brothers, Marvin (Renita) Nolan and Scott Nolan; a host of other family and friends too numerous to name.
Monday, January 9, 2017, the family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., with a funeral to follow at OBC Church 211 Harriet Tubman Street. Pastor Darryl Arnold officiating. Interment to follow at New Gray Cemetery where a white dove release will conclude the service. Professional arrangements entrusted to Patton Funeral Home, Brian L. Michael was always nice to me . For Gerald Jr.. prom he chauffeur pulled up with full suit on white gloves , opening doors for them and was a proud uncle . That's the man I I came to know. Praying for families and this community. Gone but won't be forgotten.
