Kodak, TN
Nathan Lesley Bales - age 81 of Kodak passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017, peacefully at home in front of his window surrounded by his family. He retired from ASARCO, Inc. Preceded in death by parents, Paul (Red) and Paulee Bales; and brothers, Thomas, Herman, and Curtis Bales. Survived by wife, Reva Bales; daughters, Sherry Moore and husband Stanley, Kim Bates and husband John, Stephanie Jones and husband Chris; granddaughters, Laura Holbert, Sarita Holbert, Samantha Moore, Sophia Jones, and Alexis Jones; great grandchildren, Madison Byrd, Sydney Flynn, and Austin Byrd; brother, Bobby Bales; sisters, Barbara Jean Bowlin and husband Freddie, Inez Gann and husband Wayne; and many special nieces and nephews. The family would like to express extreme gratitude to his special nurses at UT Hospice. Funeral services will be 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at Bridges Funeral Home with Chaplain Ron Russell and Rev. Doug Jennings officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 AM Wednesday at Oak Grove Cemetery for an 11:00 AM interment. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oak Grove Cemetery, 513 Hardin Road, Kodak, TN 37764, to be used for the maintenance and upkeep of the cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike, 865-523-4999. www.bridgesfuneralhome.com
