Norman E. Cowell, age 62 of Fountain City passed away Thursday, February 4, 2016. USAF Veteran. Graduate of Central Connecticut State University.

Preceded in death by parents, Norman R. and Shirley D. Cowell. Survived by sons, Wayne Cowell and fiancée Michelle Jeffers, and Eric Cowell and wife Cinthia; four sisters; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, February 7, 2016, at Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Bridges officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 871 Weisgarber Road, Knoxville, TN 37909. Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery on Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at 2:45 PM for a 3:00 PM committal service. Military Honors provided by East TN Veteran Honor Guard.
