Phillip Lee Merritt Sr., age 55, of Powell passed away April 18, 2018. He was preceded in death by mother, Ella Jean Merritt. Phillip is survived by children, Amanda Braden and Phillip Merritt, Jr.; grandchildren, Chelsey and Dee Braden and Mallory, Trevor and Bryson Merritt; father and step mother, Roy and Billie Merritt; brothers, Allen, Jeff and Eugene Merritt; sister, Linda Sherrod; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held 7:00pm, Sunday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, with Rev. Jody Darden officiating.The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm, Sunday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Online condolences can be left at www.mynattfh.com
