Phyllis Capps Obituary
Luttrell - Phyllis E. (Williams) Capps-age 87 of Luttrell went to be with the Lord Friday morning, May 28, 2021 at her home with her family by her side. She was a member of Mountain View Church of God of the Union Assembly. Phyllis was a former employee of Levi Strauss Company. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Bill and Nellie (Collins) Williams; husband, James "Jack" Capps; grandsons, Bobby Ray Capps, Jr., Joshua Reynolds; son-in-law, Mike Anderson; brothers, A. J. Williams, Hollis Williams, Leon Williams, Billy Gene Williams; sister, Doris Ann Hickman.
Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Bobby, Sr. and Trish Capps; daughters, Susie Reynolds, Diane Anderson, Julie Van Dyke and husband, Lynn; five grandchildren, Melissa Mink, Carole Lundy, Susan Williams, Jessica Williams, Michael Anderson. Several great-grandchildren. Sisters: Margie McDaniel, Carolyn Graves, Lois Oliver, Janice Hankins, Sandy Hemphill, Gail Lakins; brothers, David Williams, Jackie Williams. Several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday with the funeral service to follow at 8 p.m. Sunday, May 30, 2021, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Chris Washam, Rev. Paul Thomas Hughes officiating with music by Paul and Mavis Hughes, The Washam Family and Sheila. Interment 11 a.m. Monday, May 31, 2021, Pleasant View Cemetery, Maynardville. Please meet at the funeral home by 10:45 a.m. Monday to proceed to the cemetery. Pallbearers: Chad Mink, Bobby Mink, Blake Mink, Trent Washam, Michael Anderson, Lynn Van Dyke. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
