Ray Tinsley

TINSLEY, RAY - age 77 resident of Yulee, Florida for past 11 years, formerly of Portage, Indiana, and native of Greenville, TN. son of the late James and Rena Thomas Tinsley, died Monday March 13, 2006 in Florida. Ray was retired from Air Products, and a Army veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 3 brothers. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, he is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary Faye McGinnis Tinsley of Yulee, Florida; son, Dennis Ray Tinsley of Middleburg, Florida; daughters, Denise Faye Trowbridge of Portage, IN, Cynthia Kay Thews of Yulee, Florida; 4 grandchildren; brother in law sister in law, Bill "Red" and Tina McGinnis; sister in law brother in law, Jean and Roy Coleman, all of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews. The family and friends will meet Thursday at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery for a 1:30 P.M. graveside service with Full Military Honors by Volunteer State Veterans Honor Guard, Rev. Dean Braden officiating. Pallbearers, Bill McGinnis, David McGinnis, Jeff McGinnis, Roy Coleman, Ronnie Coleman and Ryan Tinsley. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 P.M.
