Ruby Roach Obituary
Knoxville - Ruby Nancy Ann Roach, age 89, of Knoxville, Tennessee went to be with Lord on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at her home surrounded by family and loved ones. She loved family gatherings and spending time planting flowers. She was a nurse and retired from Hillcrest North after 30 years of service. Ruby was loved so very much and will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by husbands, Richard W. Ferguson and Hayward E. Roach; son, Willaim Bill Ferguson, parents, Rubin and Stella Tidmore; brothers, Carl Tidmore and John Tidmore; sisters, Christina Jeneva and Rose Ella Tidmore and son-in-law, Myron E. Roach. Ruby is survived by son, Bobby Ferguson (Diane); daughters Rebecca Roach (Shot Stansberry) and Patricia Smith Wyrick; grandchildren, Garrett Henderson (Tim Theriot), Christi Henderson (Denise Stansberry), Shannon Brown (Curtis Clanton), Pamela Smith Hughes (David), Brian Smith and Rodney Ferguson; great grandchildren, Blake Hughs, Johnathan Brown and Emily Smith and sister-in-law and lifelong friend, Wilma Hicks.
A special thank you is extended to her grandchildren, Christi, Garrett and Pamela and daughters, Patricia and Rebecca for all the love and care you showed her during her time of need.
The family will gather at Greenwood Cemetery (Tazewell Pike) later in spring to bury Ruby's ashes next to her husband and son.

There are so many things to say about Ruby! In all these years of knowing this beautiful sweet lady, I always called her “Becky’s Mama” but she didn’t mind! Every day the love and kindness and beautiful smile will be missed by all of us! Sending thoughts, love and prayers to Becky,Christie, Garrett, and family! So sorry for your incredible loss!

Momma is miss you so much i can't breathe at times. The knly thing that gets me through day by day is knowing your not suffering any longer. And your getting to be with all the family members and friends that have gone before you. I know it must have been a beautiful reunion. You finally get to see your two baby sisters. Tell everybody i love them. Give daddy a great big hug from his baby girl. I miss you momma so much. I don't know how to live without you. I'll see you again someday. That will be the happiest day of my life. I love you ❤

You are in my heart mamaw. I was with you for nearly 5 months 24/7 and watched your pain. I am at ease knowing you arent in pain anymore but my arms long to hug you and my eyes miss your smile. I love you with every beat of my heart and miss you so very badly.
