W. Stone Obituary

STONE, W. GORDON - age 67 of Knoxville, TN passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2011. Born in Lumberton, Mississippi, to parents Edward D. and Bonnie Burge Stone, he spent most of his professional career as a sales representative in the banking industry. Survivors include his wife Sandra Jo Stone; son David Stone; daughters Angela Burgin and Karen Stone; sisters Omelia Merritt, Eddie Ruth Calvert and Dianne Danner; and nine grandchildren. The family will welcome friends at their home on Saturday, February 19, from 2-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Young-Williams Animal Center, 3201 Division Street, Knoxville, TN 37919.
