William Randles Obituary
Kodak, TN
William "Bill" W. Randles, age 87 of Kodak, formerly of Knoxville passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018.
Bill was a member of First Baptist Church, Sevierville and a former member, deacon and teacher at Ball Camp Baptist Church in West Knoxville. He served in the U.S. Army in the military police in Korea. Bill was employed at Los Alamos Lab in New Mexico and Union Carbide Y-12 in Oak Ridge until he retired. He was a member of the Kerbela Temple, the Beaver Ridge Masonic Lodge, and an honor guard in the American Legion Post 104.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Eva Randles; sisters, Ruth Coram, Jessie Mae Creswell; brothers, J.T. Randles, Edd Randles, Kenneth Randles, J.H. Randles.
His survivors include:
Wife of 64 years: Wanda Parrott Randles
Sons and spouses: Gary Randles and Becky, Wayne Randles and Audrey
Daughter and spouse: Deborah Alvaro and Nick
Grandsons: Caleb, Wesley, Josh
Granddaughters: Amanda, Rachel, Hannah, Megan, Sarah, Krista
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Freda, Jim, Scott, and Ken for love and care.
Funeral service 6 PM Monday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville officiated by Pastor Scott Carter, Pastor Scott Cagle, and Pastor Craig Mintz. Interment 2 PM Tuesday at the East TN Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Hwy with American Legion Post 104 providing military honors. The family will receive friends 4-6 PM Monday at Atchley Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.atchleyfuneralhome.com.
