Barbara Draper Obituary

GARRETT — Barbara J. Draper, 84, of Garrett, died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017 at her home.
She was born May 25, 1932 in South Bend to James A. and Florence I. (Tarman) Patterson and they preceded her in death.
She married Charles G. Draper on June 26, 1948 in Fort Wayne and he died January 26, 2008.
Mrs. Draper was a stock person at Magnavox, Fort Wayne, for 32 years, retiring in 1994.
She was a member of the Village Green Free Methodist Church, Fort Wayne.
Surviving are three daughters, Linda S. Stahl of Fort Wayne, Michelle M. (Jerry) Shroads of Garrett and Janet R. (Phil) Henschen of Garrett; two sons, Kenneth L. (Karin) Draper of Scottsville, Kentucky, and John A. (Mary) Draper of LaOtto; 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert J. Patterson and Ray Wagner; and a sister, Betty L. Rogers.
Services will take place at 3 p.m. Saturday at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, with Pastor Richard Foust officiating.
Calling will take place from 1-3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials are to the Heimach Center.
