HUDSON - Beverly Ann Meyer, 80, of Big Long Lake, Hudson, Indiana, died on Friday, Sept. 22, 2023, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
She was born on Oct. 19, 1942, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Walter Page and Ruth Ladonna (Reed) Liggett.
She graduated from South Side High School in Fort Wayne and Ball State University with a BA in education.
On Dec. 28, 1963, in Fort Wayne, she married Roger N. Meyer. He survives at Big Long Lake.
Mrs. Meyer retired from Dekko International Wire.
She was a member of Kendallville VFW Post 2749 Auxiliary and Rome City American Legion Post 381 Auxiliary.
Beverly enjoyed reading, bowling and going to the casino. Having grown up with summers spent on Big Long Lake, she dearly loved that she was able to enjoy her retirement life as a permanent resident of Big Long Lake.
Also surviving are a son, Ted (Vicki) Meyer, of Kendallville; a daughter, Cathleen (Steve) Butler, of Big Long Lake; two grandchildren, Ashley (Jeb) Thomas and Jeffrey Butler; two great-grandchildren, Claire and Kate Thomas; and a brother, Page David (Carole) Liggett, of Copperopolis, California.
She was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Meyer; and a grandson, Zachary Meyer.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2023, from 5-8 p.m., at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 S. State St., Kendallville.
Private burial will be at Orange Cemetery, Rome City.
Preferred memorials may be directed to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306.
