AUBURN - C. Eloise Davidson, 99, of Auburn, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Miller's Merry Manor in Garrett, Indiana.
She was born on Dec. 26, 1925, in Pontiac, Michigan, to Roger V. and Wanda (Leiter) Grogg.
Eloise was a 1943 graduate of Auburn High School and she earned an Associate's Degree in Business from Ivy Tech.
She was a homemaker and she was also an Air Hostess with TWA for a few years.
Eloise was a member of Norris Chapel United Methodist Church.
She belonged to TWA Clipped Wings, Silver Wings and TWA Seniors. She was a member of Ladies Literary Club, Entrenous Literary Club, and Past President of DeKalb County Federation of Women's Clubs.
She married Carroll F. "Dave" Davidson on Oct. 3, 1951, in Auburn, and he passed away on Oct. 8, 1979.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Dr. Gregg R. Davidson, of Spokane, Washington, and Bradd J. and Suzanne Davidson, of Fort Wayne; five grandchildren, Phillip Davidson, Brian Davidson, Shelby Davidson Miller, Amy Miller and Erin Tisland; five great-grandchildren, Brooke Miller, Riley Davidson, Blake Davidson, Elizabeth Davidson and Logan Nash; and a sister, Virginia A. Post, of Auburn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband.
Services will be noon on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, IN 46706, with burial to follow the service at Woodlawn Cemetery, Auburn.
Calling is two hours prior to the service from 10 a.m. to noon, on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given in memory of Eloise, to the Wounded Warrior Project.
