HAMILTON - Keith A. Platter, 75, died Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.
He was born on May 24, 1943, in Auburn to Sheldon and Beatrice (Harwood) Platter. Mr. Platter served in the U.S. Army and was a 50-year member of the Butler American Legion Post 202. He owned the Decatur Lumber Co. in Decatur, Michigan, for 10 years. He married Eloise A. Beard on July 18, 1966, in Fremont, Indiana.
Survivors include his wife, Eloise Platter of Hamilton; five sons, Keith Platter of Auburn, Kevin Platter of Auburn, Kent Platter (Christine Conners) of Hamilton, David Richardson (Jackie) of Auburn, and Michael (Wendy) Richardson of Hamilton; a brother, Phillip (Glenda) Platter of Alabama; a sister, Jane (Walter) Henry of Las Vegas; eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two daughters Michele Meeks and Carolyn Warnick.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 23, from 10 a.m.-noon at Hamilton Church of Christ, 4040 E. Church St., Hamilton, Indiana. A memorial service will be at noon Saturday, June 23, at the church with Pastor Jeff Alexander officiating. Preferred memorials are to the Hamilton Church of Christ Building Fund.
Arrangements are entrusted to Pinnington Funeral and Cremation Services, Auburn, Indiana.

Dear Family,
