Keith Secrest Obituary

GARRETT — Keith A. Secrest, age 45, of Garrett passed away on December 6, 2016.
He was born on May 29, 1971 in Fort Wayne.
Keith married Melissa Leverenz on February 22, 1995 in Auburn. She resides in Garrett.
He was a lifelong hard worker and has worked since he was the age of 15. Keith worked hard to support his family. He worked for Contech in Auburn for 10 years. He has worked the past 2 years at Metal Technologies in Auburn.
Keith loved spending time with his family. He was an avid NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt fan. He was a huge sports fan, especially basketball and football. He loved being outdoors and riding motocross and snowmobiles. Keith was always working on something and fixing things. Most of all he enjoyed playing with his kids and supporting them.
He was a loving father, husband, brother and son who recently overcame some hardships in his life. He won the battle and is very much loved and will be missed dearly.
Survivors include his wife, Melissa Secrest of Garrett; two daughters, Rayana Secrest of Garrett and Ava Secrest of Garrett; a son, Branston Secrest of Garrett; his mother, Debbie Tarlton of Garrett; a brother and his fiancee, John Secrest and Nichole Woodworth of Auburn; a sister; Melissa Secrest of Angola; grandmother Patricia Kirt of Avilla; mother-in-law Christine Humphrey of Garrett; uncles and aunts Brad and Lynn Weick of Florida and Mike and Dee Weick of Kendallville; nieces and nephews Tammie, Laurie, Jennifer, Ethan, Dylan, Rahni and Keegan; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Bryan and Andrea Leverenz of Garrett and Jay and Amanda Humphrey of Butler.
He was preceded in death by his father, Terry Secrest.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 7 p.m. at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 South Center Street in Auburn.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home in Auburn.
Officiating the funeral service will be Brother Bud Owen.
Memorials may be directed to the Secrest family to help with expenses.
Condolences may be sent to the family at www.fellerandclark.com.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Feller and Clark Funeral Home in Auburn.
