AUBURN - Linda Lu "Lin" Weimer, 82, of Auburn, Indiana, passed away on Monday, Nov. 24, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center.
She was born on June 14, 1943, in Kendallville, Indiana, a daughter of the late Richard and Betty Fritz.
Lin was a devoted homemaker and spent many years caring for children, earning the affectionate name "Moma Lin" from the many young lives she touched. She loved her family deeply and cherished every moment spent with them. Lin especially enjoyed riding along with her husband as they toured the many lakes of northeast Indiana, and she also loved visiting Traverse City, Michigan.
She is survived by her loving husband, David Weimer, of Auburn; three children, Heather (Charles) Hanes, of Auburn, Chad (Tiff) Weimer, of Angola, and Derrick (Robin Maggert) Weimer, of Auburn; and her grandchildren, Samantha (Emily) Hopkins, of Minnesota, Allie (Alan) Tadsen, of Hamilton, Emma Gaff, of Whitestown, Austin (Allyson) Weimer, of Fort Wayne, Cody (Morgan) Weimer, of Auburn, Nick (Blake) Weimer, of Kendallville, Brennan (Kamryn Hall) Weimer, of Wolcottville, Zac Weimer, of LaGrange and Kole Watson, of Saint Joe. Lin is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Hunter Weimer, Gracyn Weimer, Briley Tadsen, Layton Tadsen, Hadley Jane Tadsen, Emmit Weimer and Beckett Hall; and her sister, Pamela (Gary) Grogg, of Auburn.
A memorial visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025, at Pinnington Funeral & Cremation Services, 502 N. Main St., Auburn.
Burial will take place at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Auburn at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
