Melissa Baldridge

ROME CITY — Melissa L. Baldridge, age 46, of Rome City, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 24, 2016, in Albion, Indiana. She was born on April 20, 1970, in LaGrange, Indiana, to Michael and Lydia (Combs) Baldridge.
She was a graduate of East Noble High School, class of 1988. She was known for having the biggest heart. Crafting, cooking, and attending many events in the community is how she enjoyed spending her time. She loved making memories with her two parakeets.
The following are two poems submitted by family members. The first one, which is untitled, was written by Melissa's late grandmother, Elizabeth Combs.
"Would you please send your best angel for my daughter, I don't want her to make this journey all alone. Please send the same one you sent for papaw, to make sure my daughter makes it home. And now that it's time to take my daughter, please take special care with her. Dear Lord let her rest easy, she has suffered so much on this earth. I know she will be a perfect angel, and a perfect daughter for me. And when it's time for me to come and join them, just send the same angel for me."
Melissa's significant other, Robert Noe of Albion, Indiana, has submitted this next poem to honor her.
"I LOVE YOU – I search for words to tell you How much you mean to me To let you know how precious Each day has come to be. To show how much I value The little things you do Can really be expressed, dear Just saying I Love You."
This is a true testament that Melissa will always be missed, and she will always be loved.
A private committal service will be held at The Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center.
