Angola - Michael Paul Harter, 46 years of Angola, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly, on Sunday, March 15, 2026. Michael was born November 14, 1979, in Angola, Indiana, the son of Josie Harter. He was a 1998 graduate of Angola High School, and later earned his associate's degree from Ivy Tech. He was an Army veteran until his discharge on June 16, 2003. He married Tiffany H. Lehman on October 4, 2014, in Angola, Indiana, and she survives. Michael had previously worked in construction and at several area factories. He was a member of Life Changing Church in Angola. Mike enjoyed music, woodworking, camping, hunting, and fishing.

Surviving is his wife, Tiffany of Angola; four children, River Arnold of Hudson, Indiana, Chloe Alleyabu of Angola, Indiana, Cassidy Harter and Camryn Harter, both of Angola, Indiana; his mother and stepfather, Josie (Gregory) Black of Angola; mother-in-law, Beverly Tabernero of Hudson, Michigan; uncle, Bill (Shari) Harter of Angola, Indiana.

Memorial services for Michael Paul Harter will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, March 20, 2026, in Life Changing Church, 2201 North Wayne Street, Angola, with Pastor Mike Cain officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, beginning at 2:00 p.m. Friday in the church. Private interment will take place at a later date in Flint Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, Hamilton, Indiana.
