Auburn - Particia Jean Krider, 89, of Auburn, passed away Friday, December 5, 2025, at Parkview DeKalb Hospital in Auburn, Indiana. She was born on January 21, 1936, in Three Rivers, Michigan as Sadi Joyce McKee, the youngest of five siblings. At age five, the siblings and Patricia were put into foster care, and she was adopted by Dennis and DeVilla (Teft) Lung in Auburn, Indiana. At that time her name was changed to Patricia Jean Lung. She graduated from Auburn High School in 1954. On March 4, 1955, she married Kenneth "Joe" Krider at the Church of Christ in Auburn, Indiana. Patricia worked at DeKalb Memorial Hospital for several years and received her LPN license from Ivy Tech in 1983. She was employed from 1983 to 1989 at the former Lutheran home in Kendallville, Indiana and then went to McCray Hospital. She worked there until her retirement in 1996. She and her husband, Joe, then moved to Sun City, Arizona. While in Arizona, she volunteered for several years at Boswell Hospital and Sun City Meals on Wheels. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Sun City, Arizona. Pat was preceded in death by her adopted parents, Dennis and DeVilla Lung; husband of 54 years in 2009; brothers, David McKee and Tom McKee; and sisters, Kathleen Lovejoy and Molly June McCoy. Surviving are three sons, Gary (Pauline) of Coldwater, Michigan, Jeff (Mary) of Ormand Beach, Florida, and Mark of Garrett, Indiana; four grandchildren, Regina, Lance, Troy and Brett Krider; eight great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Per Patricia's request, there will be no services. Memorial donations may be given to the First United Methodist Church, 9849 North 105th Ave, Sun City, Arizona 85351.
