Our deepest sympathy on your loss. Although we never got to meet him, I see how much others loved him and am reminded of a quote from the Wizard of Oz, “A heart is not judged by how much you love; but by how much you are loved by others”

May the God of all comfort give you a measure of peace at this time of grief. The scriptures say God is near to those calling on him. (Ps. 145:18, 19)
