Steven Crager Obituary
GARRETT - Steven L. Crager, age 68, of Garrett, Indiana, died on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Steven was born May 19, 1957, in Garrett, Indiana, to Cola and Mary-Lou (King) Crager.
He married Debra L. Hatton on Aug. 26, 1978, in LaOtto, Indiana, and she survives in Garrett.
Steven worked as a process engineer for Phoenix America in Fort Wayne, Indiana, retiring in 2019.
Steven is survived by his wife, Debra L. Crager, of Garrett, Indiana; three sons, Adam L. Creager, of Kendallville, Indiana, Justin L. Crager, of Garrett, Indiana, and Chase L. (Erin) Crager, of Garrett, Indiana; three grandchildren; brother, Edward Crager, of Garrett, Indiana; two sisters, Jo (Dwayne) Colgan, of Auburn, Indiana, and Kaye Keen, of Auburn, Indiana.
A graveside memorial service will take place at 2 p.m., on Friday, Oct. 24, 2025, at Christian Union Cemetery, Garrett, Indiana, with Brother Bud Owen officiating.
Memorials may be made to the DeKalb County Humane Shelter.
