Christopher Hughes Obituary

Christopher Lee Hughes was born on April 23, 1981 in Fairfax, Missouri. He was the son of Richard and Pamela (Greene) Hughes. Christopher attended schools in the Forest City and St. Joseph area. He worked in construction. In his spare time he enjoyed music, fishing, working on cars, and spending time with his family. Christopher passed away in St. Joseph, Missouri on January 11, 2025. He was preceded in death by his mother, Pamela Hughes; paternal grandfather, Dr. Roger Hughes; and maternal grandparents, Dean and Bernita Greene. Survivors include his wife, Lacy Adkins; son, Draevien Hughes; daughters, Aalyiah Hughes and Angelyna Hughes (Marcell York); son, Ricky Rodriquez III; grandson, Zebediah; father, Dr. Richard "Rick" Hughes; paternal grandmother, Janice Hughes; brother and sister-in-law, Richard D. and Jessica Hughes; sister, Melissa Nauman; uncles and aunts, Dr. Charles and Kellie Hughes, Gary, Dennis, Richard, and Gregory Greene, and Lori Wright; and nieces and nephews. Services: Monday, January 20, 2025, 3:30 pm, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Oregon, Missouri. The family will greet friends beginning one hour prior to the services. Interment: Forest City Cemetery, Forest City, Missouri. Memorials may be directed to the Christopher Hughes Memorial Fund. To plant Memorial Trees in memory of Christopher L.
