Gary Whitt Obituary

Cameron, Missouri……Gary D Whitt, age 71, was born January 14, 1954, in Gallatin, MO to Harley Vest and Letha Mae (Beaman) Whitt and passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025.

Even with the challenges of cerebral palsy, Gary lived a full and meaningful life. For more than 30 years, he was a dedicated employee at Clinco Industries. Gary's faith was a guiding light, and he remained active in many churches throughout his life. He had a warm, and contagious smile, and he loved children ~ always finding joy in making them laugh, teasing them, and sharing in their delight. Gary found simple pleasures in music, westerns, and cheering for his beloved Kansas City Chiefs.

He is preceded in death by his parents; six sisters, Elsie Cornett, Vivian Meier, Kathy Thomas, Carolyn Severe, Evelyn McGuire, and Daisy Pierce; six brothers, Jim, Ollus, Herbert, Darrell, Dean, Richard, and Ivan.

Gary leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, along with many other family members and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Turner Family Funeral Home in Maysville, with burial immediately following at Jamesport Masonic Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Gary's honor may be made to Mabel Worship Center.
