Jessie Lou "Adams" Couchman

Jessie Lou (Adams) Couchman, 90, passed away Oct 24, 2025 at St. Lukes Hospital. She was born May 25, 1935 in Altamont, MO to Charles W. and Nannie Bryant (Taul) Adams. Jessie married Marshall Couchman in 1952. She had seven daughters and enjoyed working in the school cafeteria. Her faith/church was an important part of her life. She enjoyed traveling but said no place was better than home. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Connie; husband, Marshall; parents; siblings, Marvin, Harold, John, Freda, Herman, Lucille, and Charles Edward; and many close friends. Jessie is survived by daughters, April (Ken) Salli, Bonnie (David) Young, Marsha (Harold) McGlothlin, Nancy (John) Turnbull, Roxanna (Tim) Lawing, and Mona (David) Bentley; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 2 sisters Martha Charline Ruano, and Dorothy Post. A private graveside gathering will be scheduled at a later date.
