John Barton Obituary

John Anthony Barton 2024-2024 It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved infant, John Anthony Barton, who was born on November 4, 2024, and passed away on November 26, 2024, at Overland Park Regional Hospital. Though his time with us was brief, John brought immense love and joy to all who knew him. He was a precious gift to his parents, family, and friends, and his memory will forever be cherished. Little John was preceded in death by his big brother Nick, his Maternal Grandfather, James G. Zahnd and his Paternal Grandfather, Robert "Duane" Barton. Survivors include his parents, Richard and Misty Barton; siblings Brendan, Claire, and Clayton Barton; Maternal Grandmother Barbara Zahnd; Paternal Grandmother Susan "Dianne" Barton; and Paternal great-grandmother Idella Barton; as well as a large and loving family who held him close in their hearts. His sweet spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, and he will never be forgotten. A private service will be held for family and close friends to celebrate John's life and to find comfort in the love that surrounded him. Private Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Turner Family Funeral Home of Maysville with burial at Woods Cemetery, Fairport, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
