Milton Pottratz Obituary

Milton Michael Pottratz 1945-2024 Milton Michael "Mike" Pottratz, 79, passed away December 27, 2024. He was born November 21, 1945 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Milton and Nadine (Teaford) Pottratz. He graduated from Union Star R-II High School in 1964. Michael and Betty Ann Ebersold were united in marriage November 1, 1970, To this union three sons were born. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Mike worked as a towboat deck hand on a Mississippi river barge, owned his own company of home building and remodeling, owned a gun and pawn shop in Warsaw, Missouri, retired in 2011 when he moved to Amity, Missouri. Mike and Betty moved to Broomfield, Colorado in September of 2021 to be close to their three sons and families. He was a member of the Orchid Christian Church, Amity, Missouri. Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife; sons, Brian (Shannon), Scott (Karen), and Corey (Autumn); grandchildren, Megan, Braedan, Kayleann, and Khloe; sister, Christi (David) Lewis; brothers, Greg (Sharon) Pottratz, Curtis Pottratz, and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be 2:00-4:00 p.m. January 18, 2025 in Broomfield, Colorado at the clubhouse in Gate N Green. A graveside service will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, Union Star, Missouri at a later date. Memorial Contributions: Oak Grove Cemetery. Online Condolences:
