Rachel Clayter Obituary

Rachel Estel Clayter, 83, of Saint Joseph, Missouri, peacefully returned to the loving arms of the Lord on Thursday, September 25, 2025. Rachel Clayter was born on December 19, 1941 to her father Acey Robinson and mother Rachel (Jackson) Robinson. She graduated from Convent of The Sacred Heart in 1959. Later, she would work as a LPN until her retirement. Rachel loved her family and sharing and creating memories with them. She was proceeded in death by her parents; Acey and Rachel Robinson; daughter, Michelle Clayter; and brothers Acey Robinson Jr., Curtis Robinson and Stanley Robinson. Survivors include her son Scott Clayter; brother Milton Robinson; sister, Sharon Starr; nieces, Teresa (Starr) Rainey and Jennifer (Robinson) Painter; nephews, Michael Houseman and Michael Robinson; and grandchildren, Payge Clayter; Alan Clayter; and Ciana Clayter; and five great-grandchildren. There are no services planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel.
