Tim R. Embrey

Timothy "Tim" Roy Embrey 71, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at his home. He was born January 13, 1953 in Smithville, MO. He married Linda Harris on August 17, 1968, and she survives of the home. Tim worked at Walnut Products until it closed, then retired from Hillyard Chemical Company. He enjoyed auto body painting, recreational shooting, and spending time with grandchildren. He attended South Park United Methodist Church. Tim was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Embrey, mother, Ruth Marie (Fattig) Embrey. Survivors include: wife, Linda Sue Embrey of the home, sons, Tim S. (Brittney) Embrey and Kevin (Cathy) Embrey, brothers, Clarence "JR" (Sharon) Embrey and David Embrey, grandchildren; Bailey, Payge (Ryan), Makiah, Ashton (Malcom), Bryston, Alyssa, and Legend, great grandchildren, Elijah, Amiyah, Jade, Maverick, Caden, Gianna, Avianna, Kinsley, and Quinn, and his best friends, Ron & Debbie Mitchell, as well as several nieces, nephews, and good friends.
The family will receive friends from 12-2:00 PM on Tuesday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services and public live stream; 2:00 pm, Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at the Rupp Funeral Home, Chaplain Jim Longe officiating. The Interment will be at the Mount Auburn Cemetery.
